Offering an unprecedented level of image quality for a handheld camera, the HPX250 records 10-bit, 4:2:2 independent-frame video in AVC-Intra, the industry’s most advanced compression technology. The AVC-Intra intra-frame video codec offers bit rates of 100Mbps and 50Mbps, utilizing the High-10 Intra and High-422 Intra profiles of H.264, respectively.
High-performance 2.2 Million Imager
High-sensitivity, low-noise 1/3”, Full HD 2.2 megapixel Ultra Luminance Technology (ULT) 3-MOS imagers and a 20-bit Digital Signal Processor deliver superb low-light images in native 1920 x 1080 resolution.

Create Fast and Slow Motion Effects
The HPX250 offers variable frame rate capability in 1080p up to 30fps (17 steps), as well as 720p up to 60fps (25 steps) for undercranking (lower speed)/overcranking (higher speed) to create fast or slow motion effects. Popular frame rates include 24fps, 25fps and 30fps.
High-quality Professional Audio
Record high-quality 16-bit digital audio on all four channels of 48kHZ. Also offers two locking XLR inputs with switches for mic/line, two RCA audio outputs, +48V Phantom Power capability
Long Record Times
Records for 320 minutes in AVC-Intra 100 at 720/24pN, 160 minutes in AVC-Intra 100 1080/24pN, and 128 minutes in other AVC-Intra 100 or DVCPRO HD formats on two 64GB cards.
Easy Multi-Camera Operation
The HPX250 is the first handheld camcorder to support multi-camera synchronizing. Its features a built-in SMPTE timecode generator/reader, TC input/ouput, and Genlock input for multi-camera live recording.
